 About The Greenery Plant Company, Inc. – History

The Greenery was opened in 1991 as a retail garden center to offer St. Louis a unique selection of plant material, for both outdoor and indoor environments.

At the garden center, customers could get free consultation services or sound landscape ideas. Landscaping services were available to people looking to enhance their gardens with a more exotic and distinctive foliage, but did not have the time or the experience to do the job.

 

In 1992 we began offering interior plantscape maintenance to both commercial and residential customers in the St. Louis region. Three years later, “The Greenery” became “The Greenery Plant Company, Inc.” Today, in order to accommodate the growing demand for horticultural services in the St. Louis region, we moved to a larger facility, focused to provide the best service in design, installation, and maintenance of interior and exterior plantscape environments. We offer a great selection of unusual tropical plants and replica foliage. We also offer plant rentals for all occasions, and seasonal rentals/storage.
